About Me.
Hi there, my name is Amanda. I am a veterinary technician with experience working for a Fear Free clinic on Cape. I currently live in Wareham, but service many places to include: Upper Cape, Lower Cape, South Shore, and the surrounding areas. I have been a vet tech for just under ten years. I enjoyed the veterinary field very much and after receiving several pet care inquiries from clients, I decided to start my own business in my spare time. And now, after two years and completely falling in love with what I do, I have decided to do it full time.
As a technician by trade, I was constantly surrounded by animals; from kittens/puppies to birds, lizards, fish and fluffy rodents. I have experience in medication administration, veterinary emergency practices and a bit of behavioral training. I am also Red Cross Pet First Aid certified and carry my own insurance.
As a pet sitter, I feel that it is very important to help make the animals as comfortable as possible whenever their owners are away. I use lots of love, cuddles, positive reinforcement and care. I enjoy walking beaches, hiking the canal or trails, throwing a ball or frisbee, making friends at the dog park, giving belly rubs and even giving the occasional nail trims to my new furry pals! I make it a point to send picture/video updates as often as possible, to keep the pet parents in the loop. My services range from dog walking, pet sitting and the occasional boarding.
I only work part time so my schedule is extremely flexible; and I can provide a plethora of PAW-some references. If you're looking for a dependable, knowledgable, fun loving pet care professional, look no further!
